Welcome to Big Pussycat!
Big Pussycat was created to promote our belief that true skill and confidence trumps arrogance and posturing any day.
Many consumer product companies seem to market their products on the idea that modern consumers are insecure and, hence, easily manipulated. One way to pray upon these insecurities is to constantly question the ability, aptitude, skill, etc. of potential and existing customers. The popularity of the "extreme" marketing gimmick has seemed to skyrocket in recent years.
Extreme marketing prays upon consumers by calling into question their man/womanhood by constantly implying the question, "are you [tough, fast, big, strong] enough to [consume our product]?" Many seem to flock to these products to scream a desperate, "yes!" when, in reality, the only question they've really answered is, "can you be manipulated into spending money?"
Those who claim to be without fear don't impress us very much. We are impressed by those with fear who can suppress it to the point where they can develop and exhibit world class abilities. After all, without fear, pushing yourself to the edge wouldn't be very exciting or challenging would it?
Through our anti-extreme performance wear, we hope to convey that the moderation of fear is only part of the equation and that it goes hand in hand with questioning, learning and always improving.
To this end, we present to you our first three products. We will continue to release new t-shirts and other sportswear addressing many activities so check back often.
